MATHS/SCIENCE GRADUATE REQUIRED FOR STARTER POSITION WITHIN MARINE RISK CONSULTANCY

Job description

There is currently an opportunity for a graduate with strong maths ability to join our company as a Risk Analyst and to support our ongoing projects in the oil, gas and renewables sector.

This permanent, full-time post will be based in our Aberdeen city centre office and will mainly involve data analysis, modelling, risk assessment and report writing. On the job training will be provided so technical knowledge of the industry is not expected, however the candidate must be able to work independently on tasks requiring analytical skills.

Requirements

The person sought should fit the following profile:

  • BSc (Hons) 1st class or 2:1 (minimum)
  • Highly numerate with evidence of strong mathematical proficiency
  • PC literate (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and report writing skills
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling an advantage

Starting salary will be circa. £20-22,000 which will be reviewed after the initial six months’ probation. Anatec also provide a non-contributory pension scheme (5% employer contribution) and twice-yearly performance related bonus scheme.
