Anatec’s highly experienced team have carried out studies in relation to the Port Marine Safety Code (PMSC) for large and small ports within the UK. Our experience includes: Taking Stock, Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, culminating in the development of a Safety Management System (SMS). We work together with operational marine personnel at the ports to ensure that the safety systems developed meet the operational requirement whilst ensuring compliance with the PMSC itself.

In addition, Anatec have carried out numerous risk assessment studies supporting licensing requirements in the planning and development of new projects, such as Marine Licence Applications, Harbour Revision Orders, Transport and Work Act, Development Consent Orders on proposed developments within ports such as Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminals, jetties, nuclear power stations and wind farm supply/maintenance bases. Our range of clients in this area includes ports, energy companies, engineering companies and environmental consultancies etc.

Our experience in this area stretches across the globe and Anatec have supported on some of the world’s largest infrastructure projects including Hinkley and Sizewell C.

Please contact us if you would like to find out more about how we can assist with port safety.
